Abu Dhabi, UAE – The World Utilities Congress 2027, hosted by TAQA, will return to Abu Dhabi from 25-27 May 2027, bringing together leaders from across the global power and water sectors to address the challenges shaping the next generation of utility systems.
Taking place at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, the three-day event will convene policymakers, utility executives, investors, technology innovators, infrastructure providers and industry experts around a central theme: From Ambition to Delivery.
As electricity demand continues to rise and water security becomes increasingly strategic, utilities are facing the need to expand infrastructure, modernise networks and deploy new technologies while maintaining reliability, affordability and resilience. World Utilities Congress 2027 will provide a platform for stakeholders to examine how investment, innovation and collaboration can translate long-term ambitions into practical outcomes.
The event will span key areas across the utilities value chain, including power generation, transmission and grids, distribution networks, water and wastewater, waste and circularity, technology and AI, sustainable mobility, energy storage, energy efficiency, finance and investment, and policy and regulation.
Alongside the exhibition, the Congress will feature its Strategic Conference and Technical Conference, creating opportunities for both high-level strategic dialogue and detailed technical knowledge exchange. The Strategic Conference will focus on policy alignment, capital deployment and infrastructure delivery, while the Technical Conference will explore engineering solutions and practical approaches to building resilient power and water systems.
The event will also showcase emerging technologies and solutions through dedicated features including the Innovation Hub, which highlights innovations from established companies and startups, and the F.U.E.L. Programme, designed to engage students, fresh graduates and young innovators entering the utilities sector.
With power and water systems increasingly central to economic growth, industrial competitiveness and energy security, World Utilities Congress 2027 will provide a meeting point for the organisations and professionals working to turn the sector's ambitions into delivery.
