In observance of Ramadan 2021, government officials have laid down strict safety and health guidelines for UAE citizens. Restaurants, however, can serve customers during fasting hours. They no longer have to screen diners from the public, as announced by officials this weekend. The government earlier warned against gatherings and setting up iftar tents. And iftar meals are only to be shared within members of the same household.
